If you liked Backrooms…
Try Escape the Dark Castle!
Are you looking for a game with Backrooms‘ uncanny feel? Try your luck navigating a seemingly endless maze while taking on strange creatures with limited resources in Escape the Dark Castle!
In this cooperative survival game, you and your mates play as prisoners escaping a castle’s grim dungeons. The game is simple to learn but challenging and deeply atmospheric, with a world that pulls you into its depths.
Push your characters to their physical and mental limits, and try to escape together without leaving anyone behind.
1-4 players // 30-60 mins

If you liked 28 Years Later…
Try Dead of Winter!
How well do you think you’d do in the aftermath of a zombie apocalypse? Immerse yourself in a surviving colony’s isolated world and see how well you’d fare balancing internal politics with an existential threat.
In Dead of Winter, your party plays as members of one of the last strongholds of humanity. Outside your walls, a mysterious disease has taken over, turning humans into flesh-craving creatures. Inside, however, not all is peaceful…
With many characters to choose from, this narrative-driven game is filled with tense moments and difficult decisions. Will you keep the group alive, or will you look out for your own interests first?
2-5 players // 60-120 mins

If you liked Obsession…
Try Grind House!
Do you actually know who your real friends are? Or are they using you for their own benefit?
In Grind House, you compete not just to survive a house of horrors, but to win the most points while crossing its violent rooms. Each character is modelled after a classic horror archetype, but don’t be deceived: everyone has their own secret goal. If you enjoyed the psychological aspects of Obsession, never knowing what is happening behind people’s eyes, you’ll enjoy this game.
Will you satisfy your deepest, darkest wish, or be sacrificed along the way?
2-6 players // 20-30 mins

If you liked Hokum…
Try Mysterium!
If you like the eerie atmosphere of Hokum, its classic haunted mansion and supernatural inhabitants, but need that clever twist in the story, then Mysterium is the game for you.
Your party play as mediums communing with a mute ghost who can only communicate through cryptic visions. The game is played in real time, bringing an added layer of tension and adrenaline to the gameplay.
Work together to deduce the truth behind a century-old crime and try to bring peace to this restless spirit.
2-7 players // 42 mins

Excited for Werewulf?
Try Blood on the Clocktower!
Maybe this is cheating (the movie isn’t out yet or whatever…), but if you’re excited to see Werewulf later this year, then we have the perfect recommendation for you: Blood on the Clocktower!
Join this atmospheric social deduction game, set in a small town terrorised by mysterious, evil forces. Each player is secretly assigned a different role with different abilities and allegiances to one another. Maybe you’re the Undertaker or Ravenkeeper, allied to the town, or maybe you’re the Poisoner and right-hand man to the Demon. Only you know who you are and what you know, so pick carefully who you trust: anyone could be lying.
Will the townsfolk be able to stop the evil team, or will it be too late?
You can find BotC events all across our different venues (with some special ones for Halloween!). So join us for an evening of murder, mystery, drama, and lots of fun.
