You know, we’ve been talking about games for a while now on this blog and we’re not just about games (LIES! Games are everything!), let’s just let you know a little about some of the great deals we have running across our sites.
Lunch & Logic
(not available at our Christmas Steps site in Bristol)
This one’s been going for a good while now and has proven very popular… Want to sit down for a bit? Tight on cash but need a filling lunch? Got time to kill between lectures or a long lunchbreak? For the very reasonable price of one single measly tenner you get:-
- A single patty burger (choose from our beef smash patty, buttermilk chicken or beyond burger patty)
- Fries
- A soft or hot drink
- TWO HOURS OF GAMING!
Now, that’s a result, you can even get upgrades at a reasonable price including, but not limited to:-
- upgrading your burger with a second patty or adding bacon
- Topping your fries making them filthy
- Changing out your drink to a house pint of even a milkshake
It’s valid from 12 to 4 (yes, waltz in at 3:55pm and order quickly and stay and game for 2 hours, now that’s a late lunch!) and all year round too, just like our other deals. Bear in mind you can’t mix your deals, just saying, that’d be like playing Ticket to Ride and What do you Meme at the same time…
Wait… Hmmm… Ticket to Meme? or maybe What do you Ride? *blush* There’s an idea there!
Kids play free
On any weekday we are open (see sites for specifics), until 4pm, you can bring in your kids and they can play for free, as long as you’re paying for your games!
I mean, this says it all… it’s a simple transaction really, just don’t be cheeky and bring a whole class of kids in, that’s a bit much! We soft limit it to two kids per paying adult, we think that’s more than fair.
If you book in advance you pay only £8.00 for you and two kids to play board games for four whole hours… that’s not too shabby at all, is it? We’ve set the upper age limit of this one to 14 years old, it seems like they’re still kids at that age… past that point they’re mini-adults really!
Students play free
Err… well… we’re not running out of ideas, honest… it just worked so well with the kids we thought we’d roll it out to students too…
Terms are a bit different here though as you don’t need to bring adults along! As long as you make a valid purchase then you don’t have to pay for gaming between 12 and 4, better show us your valid student ID as well though, it’s only fair… hopefully with an ill informed haircut that we can comment about. Clearly we’ll only say nice things about your picture, it is hospitality after all and not in-hospitality.
So get your lectures done and dusted in the morning and then get in and play a game or two with friends for a few hours, you deserve it.
Hospo Sundays
You work in Hospitality? Just nailed Friday and Saturday and got the Sunday off to relax? You deserve a treat…
So, why not come join us for a board game or two? Show us your payslip (or something like that) and we’ll give you access to some great deals.

Fancy a pint? Our house pints are £4 just for you!
…and the best part? For just the price of an hours gaming for you and your hospo buddys you’ll be able to game from 5pm until close.

Here’s our newest one! Not in anyway inspired by Hospo Sundays, just like Frustration isn’t just another version of Sorry! which is clearly not a variant of Ludo which is defo not just a variant of Parcheesi…
Alright, you got us. It’s the same deal as above but for Students and on a Wednesday. How different is it, well… IT’S ALL DAY LONG! Well, whilst we are open. So cancel your Wednesday plans, get the gang together and get yo game on! Midweek blues are over (unless you’re playing Hues and Clues… you may still have to deal with the colour blue).
Same great deals as Hospo Sundays too, that’s cheap pairs of cocktails and house pints for £4 each.
