If you’ve ever looked at your favourite board game café and thought “this place should make a chaotic, strategy-lite card game full of meeples, spells, and shiny nonsense,” well… first of all, thats dead spooky. And second: WE DID.
It’s called CCCCG, the Chance & Counters Collectable Card Game and it’s finally here
What is CCCCG?
CCCCG is a two-player, light-strategy trading card game packed with in-jokes, weird mechanics, and love love for the tabletop world. You’ll play as a Game Guru, summoning meeples, casting spells, and trying to wreck your opponent’s game box before they wreck yours.
It’s fast, funny, and deliberately a little bit unhinged. A typical game takes 15–30 minutes, perfect for a quick showdown over a pint or during your game night warm-up.
Booster Packs Are Now on Sale!
From Thursday 19th June, you can grab booster packs at any of our cafés or from our website. Each one contains:
- 8 cards
- A random mix of Common (C), Uncommon (UC), Rare (R), Super Rare (SR) and Leader cards
- A chance at shiny versions of some cards (you know you want that shiny Gloop Doop…)
£4 each or 3 for £10
But stock is super limited, so if you want a piece of this glorious nonsense, don’t wait.
How do you play?
We’ve got a full rulebook ready to go, but right now, it’s all about the fun of collecting, trading, and discovering the wild characters and mechanics we’ve hidden inside each pack.
Once we see how people engage with the boosters, we’ve got big plans in the pipeline:
Starter decks (so you can play straight out of the box)
Tournaments and events
Expansions and collabs (potentiially already in the works)
Why did we make a card game?
Because we’re massive nerds, obviously.
But also because we love finding new ways to bring games to life, especially stuff you can’t get anywhere else. CCCCG is a love letter to the gaming community, the chaos of game cafés, and the weird little characters that live in our heads.
We worked with Mish (our incredible ex assistant manager and illustrator) and Gareth from Lowlife Games to bring it all to life, and it’s genuinely one of the most fun things we’ve ever made.
