Nobody has to organise anything
You know the drill with group dos. Somebody ends up chasing everyone for a fiver, somebody else is stuck reading a rulebook out loud, and the food turns up in dribs and drabs so half the table has finished before the rest have started. We have taken all of that off you.
One bill, one payer
Agreed at booking, settled at the end. No splitting the bill fourteen ways at eleven o'clock, no working out who had the extra pint.
The food lands together
Everything is pre-ordered, so the kitchen makes it as one go. Your whole table eats at the same time, which sounds obvious until you have sat through the alternative.
Nine hundred games, no rulebooks
The gaming fee is already in the price. Tell one of our lot what your group is like and they will put the right game in front of you and teach it properly.
Works for birthdays, work socials, leaving dos, stags and hens who fancy something other than a pub crawl, and that quarterly thing your company makes you organise. Ten people upwards, seven days a week.

The packages
Every price is per person, VAT included, for a two hour off-peak booking. The gaming fee is already in there. Tap one and it drops straight into the bill.
Peak is Friday 5pm to Sunday 5pm and adds £2 per person.
Extra hours are £2.50 per person off-peak, £3.50 peak.
Under 10 guests? That is a standard table booking at the normal gaming fee.
Over 12 guests? That is an exclusive hire of one of our spaces, each with its own minimum.
So, what's the damage?
Move the numbers about and the bill keeps up. Nothing here books anything, it is just so you know what you are walking into.

Ten is the floor. Over 40 and we will want a quick chat first.
Peak is Friday 5pm through to Sunday 5pm.
Two hours comes as standard. Add more if you are settling in.
Add-ons are per person and confirmed when you pre-order.
Sorting the drinks
One token each, bottomless softs, or a bucket of cans waiting on the table. Your call.
The included drink
One token per person, handed to the lead booker on arrival to dish out.
£6 of menu value, redeemed at the table
- Any can, soft drink, juice or hot drink
- A pint of house draught beer or cider
- A 125ml glass of house wine
- A single house spirit with a standard mixer
- A float or a homemade lemonade
Tokens work on the day, at the venue you booked. The lead booker looks after them, including any that do not get used.
Bottomless soft and hot drinks
Included in Dry Tavern, or add it to any food package in place of the drink token. Covers tap softs, packaged softs, juices, tea, coffee and hot chocolate, ordered at the table one at a time during your booking.
Dry Tavern also gets an arrival drink: a mocktail, float or alcohol-free beer, one choice for the whole group. Full details of what is and is not covered are in the small print at the bottom.
Build the Tavern bundle
£18 per person of packaged drinks, pre-ordered and sat in ice buckets on your table. Pick three modules, and doubling up on one is fine. Quantities scale with your headcount.
What lands on the table
Packaged formats only, rounded up to whole cans and bottles. Draught is not part of a bundle.
Having the place to yourselves
Over 12 guests and your booking becomes an exclusive hire of one of our spaces.
- The Front 20 seats 14 minimum
- The Back 38 seats 24 minimum
- Full Venue 56 seats 38 minimum
Each space carries a minimum number of guests rather than a minimum spend. Everything you pay goes on food, drinks and gaming, instead of chasing a total on the night.
Bring fewer than the minimum and the package price is payable for the minimum number, so it is worth rounding your group up rather than down. The calculator will tell you if you are close.
The Front and the Back each run alongside normal trade in the other area. Only a Full Venue booking takes the whole site, and its ceiling is our licensed capacity.
The food
All pre-ordered and locked in at final numbers, never chosen on the day. That is how everyone's plate turns up at the same time.
The Side Quest spread
A shared pizza and tapas spread, cut for the table and brought out in waves across a 45 minute window agreed at booking.
Every ten guests get six pizzas across Margherita, Rossa and Meat & Heat, plus four tater tots, four harissa hummus and flatbread, and four guacamole and tortilla chips.
Margherita and Rossa come vegan if you want them, and all three tapas are vegan as standard. It suits groups up to about 30. Above that, Explorer or Hero keeps the kitchen on time and everyone eating together.
Portions are matched to your headcount and confirmed when you pre-order. Anyone with a named allergen gets a separately prepared plated portion, never something pulled off the shared spread.
Pie and pizza choices
Explorer
Any pie, served with mash, minty mushy peas and gravy: Moo, Free Ranger, Wild Shroom (v), Heidi (v) or Mooless Moo (vg).
Hero
Either the Mothership, which is any pie with mash and minty mushy peas topped with cheddar and crispy onions, or a whole pizza.

Games Guru
Someone to pick the right game for your group, explain it properly, then leave you to it. No rulebook arguments. 10 to 20 guests per host.
Bigger groups either stack packages with more hosts, or ask us for a custom quote.
Extra hours run at the standard rate up to four in total. For sessions above four hours, please contact the management team for a custom quote.
How the booking works
Three moments that matter. After that it is just turning up.

At booking
A deposit of £5 per person secures your date. It is not an extra: the full deposit is put towards your total, so it comes off the bill on the day. Non-refundable.

Seven days before
Final numbers confirmed and all food pre-ordered. Card details are held against the booking.
Numbers can go up after this if we have space, but they cannot come down. From here you are charged on the confirmed number whether everyone shows or not, because the food is prepped to that number.

On the day
Whatever is left after your deposit comes off is settled as one bill, against a single named payer agreed at booking. A discretionary 10% service charge on the full total is added on the day.
If plans change

The small print worth reading
Allergies, vegans and vegetarians
Anyone with a named allergen gets a separately prepared plated portion, never something pulled off the shared plates.
Where a group includes vegan or vegetarian guests, the selection always includes plant based options.
What bottomless softs does and does not cover
Covers tap softs, packaged softs, juices, tea, coffee and hot chocolate. Ordered at the table one at a time, drunk in the venue, during your booking only.
It does not cover alcohol-free beer and cider, shakes, floats or mocktails, and extras like syrups are charged as normal. Service stays at the team's discretion.
Side Quest for bigger groups
The shared spread suits groups up to about 30. Above that we would steer you towards Explorer or Hero, where everyone gets their own plate and the kitchen can send it all out together.
An extra pizza or tapas round is £4 per person, added at pre-order.
Where you will be sitting
Up to 12 guests is reserved seating alongside normal trade. Above that it is an exclusive hire of one of our spaces, and you get that space to yourselves.
The Front and the Back each run alongside normal trade in the other area. Only a Full Venue booking takes the whole site. Groups may be seated across more than one table within the space.
Cake, confetti and other bring-alongs
Celebration cakes are very welcome. No other outside food.
Nothing fixed to the walls, and no confetti or glitter. We are still finding some from 2019.
Looking after the games
Groups are responsible for damaged or missing components. Our library only works because people put the little wooden bits back in the box.
